w/c 05.02.24 This week in Year 5!

This week we have had a fantastic time exploring insulators and conductors by completing a science experiment. We used different types of materials for our cups and used the thermometers to record the heat of the water over a 10 minute period. The children enoyed the experiment and were keen to try it themselves at home! 

We have also been working on our new text: Wind in the Willows. Focusing on Toads emotions in preparation for our diary entry writing next week
