This week in Reception (WB 7.10.24)

This week in Reception we have been learning about the story ‘PEEPO!'. After reading the book we discussed how houses may have looked different in the past, we then used the book to talk about different family members and drew our families.
In Phonics this week we have learnt some new graphemes (ck,e,u,r). We have enjoyed using the letter formation rhymes to form our letters correctly.
In maths this week have been introducing the concept of ‘one more than’. The children have really enjoyed choosing a number to 5 and working out your new number when you add one more. We have some super counters in Reception, well done everyone!
