This week in Reception (WB 23.09.24)

This week the children have had lots of fun learning about the story 'Little Red Riding Hood'. They have enjoyed dressing up and pretending to be the different characters from the story. We have also had fun making maps of Little Red Riding Hood's journey thinking about all of the different places that she walked past to get to Grandma's house. 

We have also been looking at the artist Picasso and how he liked to paint faces. The children have been looking in the mirror to identify the features on their faces and drawing their own versions of Picasso's painting. They did a super job!
