This Week In Reception (WB 09.12.24)

This week in Reception, we’ve had a magical time as we continued our preparations for the Nativity play. The children have been practicing their lines and songs, bringing the Nativity story to life with enthusiasm. We’ve also been exploring the story in more detail during our English lessons, making connections to our play.

In Maths, we focused on the concept of height. The children had lots of fun using blocks and each other to compare and practise vocabulary such as "taller," "shorter," and "same height." It was a hands-on way to learn!

Our week was filled with festive fun as we celebrated Christmas in style. We enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner and party, met Santa in his grotto to receive a special gift, and even went to see the pantomime Aladdin. It was a week full of joy, laughter, and excitement as we prepare for the Christmas season!
