Learning in Class 7 10.1.25

Class 7 have had a lovely start back to school. They have been writing and performing poetry in English, recapping place value in maths and took part in a Wow Starter for their topic on Ancient Egypt. Children researched the era, painted fellucas on the Nile, mummified dolls, made a headress, were archaeologists and wrote their names in hieroglyphics. Despite it being the first week back and a whole week of indoor play times due to the freezing weather, the children said they wanted to stay in school all night to continue to wow afternoon.
