Being Incredible in Reception (WB 16.09.24)

This week in Reception the chidren have still been exporing the areas and settling into our school routines. All the children have settled really well and are starting to make lovely relationships with both the staff and their peers. 

We have started our Phonics lessons this week and have been looking at the following GPCs, S, A, T and P. The children have been super at recognising the graphemes and being able to say the corresponding phonemes. 

Our book of the week, this week, was 'Incredible You', the children really enjoy taking turns and telling their classmates what makes them incredible.  

In Maths we have been singing numbers songs, counting up to 5 and 10.
