29/11/24- This week in Year 5

Firstly, congratulations to all Year 5's for their excellent efforts during assessment week. We are so proud of them for trying their hardest during each of the assessments.

Year 5 produced some amazing big writes by writing their own legends, inspired by 'The Sea Serpent's Daughter.' There were amazing examples of 'show not tell', fronted adverbials and superb description and we were blown away by some of the writing. Over the next two weeks, we will be learning about 'A Christmas Carol' and exploring the miserly ways of Ebeneezer Scrooge. BAH HUMBUG!!
