This week in Year 5 we have done some exceptional learning. In English we have completed our big writes on 'The boy, the bear, the baron and the bard.' It was a wonderful first big write and we are really pleased with the efforts of everyone in our classes. Next week, we are moving onto MacBeth, which is one of William Shakespeare's finest plays. In Topic, we have been learning about Henry VIII and his wives. Test your child and see if they can remember the fate of each wife in the correct order. If you need a recap, have a watch of this- Henry VIII ("Money, Money, Money" by ABBA) (youtube.com)

A reminder that on PE days, all children must come into school with their PE kit in a bag unless they are told otherwise. Our PE days are Monday and Friday.
