Inclusion Hub: Blog items

Ths children in the Inclusion hub have been looking at animals this half term.
They have looked at pet animals, zoo animals and farm animals.
The children have milked a cow, made bird feeders, rescued frozen animals trapped in ice, cleaned the naughtly farm animals that went in the mud and fed the penguins.
This week the children will be looking at habitats and making the habitats for the animals.

The past two weeks we have been looking at Dentist and Doctors in the Inclusion hub. How they help us and make sure we stay healthy.
The children have loved activity out the roles of doctors and denstists with their friends. We have also looked at how we can keep our teeth healthy and how doctors can make us feel better.

This week in Curriculum week we have been looking at the book 'Mixed'
The children were focusing on the character 'Red' They wrote a description about Red and drew his picture.
During the week this children explored colour mixing looking at how we can make different colours and made a red pizza. It was very tasty!

The last few weeks, the children in Inclusion hub have been looking at people who keep us safe.
We have learnt that Firefighters help us when there is a fire. Only adults are aloud to touch anything that makes fire, not children.
We learnt about the Police and how they help if something bad has happened or if something is stolen.
This week we have learnt about Lifeguards and how they keep you safe in the water. The children now know what to do if they get in trouble in the water too.

The children in the hub have been working hard this week on developing their gross motor skills in PE.
We have been practicing travelling on equipment in different ways and trying different jumps.

This week in the Inclusion Hub the children have been exploring all things Halloween.
They have used fruit to create pumpkins, practiced their fine motor skills making mummies and created potions.

This week the children have been looking at where they live and what their homes are like. We had great fun using Google maps to find our house and practiced writing our address.
The children used the blocks to build houses and used the dolls furtinure to set up different rooms.

This week in the Inclusion hub we have been focusing on our family. The children have been drawing and painting pictures of themselves and their family.
